Street Hypnosis

Street hypnosis is the wonderful offspring that came about when street talk and hypnosis were combined. For a long time, hypnosis has been held in a somewhat dogmatic regard. People regarded it with thorough distrust. The reason for this is that they simply cannot believe that one person can have so much control over another by simply speaking the right words to them. They believe that the person on the other end is often staging or faking what they are feeling. This is in spite of the fact that hypnosis is a well-documented medical phenomenon that has been known about for almost 2 centuries now.

Street hypnosis can be used for a variety of different things. For example, it can be used to sweet talk your way out of the situation in which you would not be able to get out otherwise. It can also be used for good rather than evil, to alleviate people’s pain or bring joy. The kind of control that street hypnosis could potentially give you is staggering, so much so that many reading this article may be fraught with disbelief right now. Nevertheless, street hypnosis is tried and tested and has even been used in crimes such as thievery before. A couple of years ago in Europe, the BBC covered a case in which a person was going from cashier to cashier and simply having them hand him their store’s money for their own free will. The cashiers had little to no memory of such events occurring. This person is widely regarded to have been using some form of street hypnosis to hold dominion over his poor victims and is something of a legend on the darker, more secluded places of the internet.

Those of us who know a bit about hypnosis know that there are failsafes against being hypnotized. “No one can be hypnotized against their will.” You need to be willing in order to be hypnotized. This is why people who entertain using hypnosis usually pick out their subjects very carefully. It needs to be a certain special kind of person willing enough to undergo hypnosis in front of a large crowd without being uncomfortable.

They need to be thoroughly fascinated with the phenomenon, something that these entertainers see in the person’s eyes. The problem with that one ironclad rule is that it leaves you unguarded most of the time. So long as you are ignorant, and do not know that you are being hypnotized; you could very well be hypnotized at any time, by anyone. The only prerequisite in this case is that you feel comfortable with the person in front of you, an art that has long since been mastered by scammers and con artists. This paradoxical conundrum arising from the nature of street hypnosis leads us to drive a certain point home: even if you, yourself do not intend on using this art/science for mobile or ulterior motives, it is still a very wise idea to learn it nevertheless to keep from having it used against you.
